UGG boot repair and cleaning
- Moses DSo this rating is for the current guy running the shop. Apparently, the old man who ran this place sold it to him, and unfortunately, it might be a dud. I feel bad for this new guy because he moved up from SoCal to take over this shop, and the old man took off with the stitcher machine! What the hell? I guess it explains why some items sent here for repair were just glued and not stitched (maybe the old guy got lazy?). The newer guy wants to do work that is presentable, legitimate and lasting to customers...unfortunately, he doesn't have a stitcher to do the work correctly. (For the record, hand stitching with leathercraft and shoes is great but very, very time consuming.) It sounds like this new guy is basically trying to make sure that customers who have dropped off their items will come back and pick them up. So if you plan to do new business with the new guy, he will be straight up with you, and I appreciate that as a consumer.
- Lisa MI called over to see if my softball glove could get fixed, I had a strap that need to be re: Velcro and re-positioned it for me with no problem. It took him literally 30 minutes to get it done; 15 minutes for the Velcro to attach prior to him sewing it in. My glove is like new again! Great prices too! With great service! Wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks again!
- Denise KI've been availing myself of his services since the 80's and every time, he salvages a purse, shoe or other item that I thought was lost. Having rabbits who chew strappy shoes, I was in there a lot. He does quality, exceptional work. Make sure to leave this craftsman time to work. He recently did an emergency fix for me, but with his popularity, allow him the time he needs when you can. The crowded backroom full of projects shows his popularity. Even if it's a bit out of your way, going to this shoe repair is worth it.
